NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Virginia Wesleyan's Dave Macedo picked up his sixth State Coach of the Year honor, as the Virginia Sports Information Directors announced the release of the 2011-12 College Division All-State Men's Basketball Team. Christopher Newport senior Conley Taylor and freshman Mike Cherry were named Player and Rookie of the Year, respectively.

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech has swept the Virginia Sports Information Directors’ top honors for wrestling this year, led by Devin Carter as Wrestler of the Year. Teammate Nick Brascetta claimed Rookie of the Year honors, while Kevin Dresser took home his second straight Coach of the Year award.

FARMVILLE, Va. -- Virginia forward Mike Scott has been selected as Player of the Year, Norfolk State's Anthony Evans Coach of the Year, and Richmond guard Kendall Anthony Rookie of the Year in the annual voting by the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) for the 2012 University All-State Men's Basketball Team.
